What is ExileDesigns ?

ExileDesigns was first created in 2003. Its original purpose was to showcase my personal projects and artwork (websites, photography and illustrations).

ExileDesigns has grown over time and now it also represents my professional portfolio. It also includes articles and tutorials about webdesign.

Who is behind ExileDesigns ?

My name is Corinne and I’m a 24 years old girl living in Switzerland, born from italian parents. I really enjoy experiencing different cultures and the world around me, and I aim to be a free bird someday so that I may see everything this world has to offer.

I am a freelance webdesigner who absolutely loves her job ! I also have lots of other creative activities, such as creating illustrations, shooting photos and writing. And I also love video games and litterature.

Corinne’s background

I created my first website template in 1998 and the whole process was something I had learned on my own. As things progressed, I started creating original artworks (from 3D characters & softwares) and using my personal design resources (photography, illustration, vector art, Flash animations).

In 2003, I opened my design store (The Graphic Boutique) and made my first attempts at at having a steady income. At that time, I was graduating at the émaf, which is an Arts and Multimedia school in Fribourg, Switzerland.

In 2005, my freelance business became a full-time job that I am still enjoying today !
